What does the Accident Compensation Corporation do?
The Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) administers New Zealand’s accident compensation scheme, which provides personal injury cover for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand.
Resources
The ACC is primarily responsible for statistics relating to injury claims and costs. Statistics New Zealand also plays a role, as the Injury Information Manager appointed under Statute, in integrating and standardising injury-related information across government agencies.
