What does Housing Corporation New Zealand do?


Housing New Zealand Corporation (HNZC) provides access to decent homes, helping New Zealanders manage their own circumstances and contribute to community life.

Housing New Zealand Corporation has primary responsibility for holding waiting list data on those applying for state housing.

View the waiting list data, broken down by neighbourhood unit. Links to a map of HNZC regions with regional data on number of properties managed by HNZC, numbers of applicants waiting and category of priority.

 

New Zealand Housing Strategy
The New Zealand Housing Strategy will set out a vision and strategic direction for housing over the next 10 years, including background papers on older people, youth, Māori, and Pacific peoples, and disabilities and mental health.

New Zealand housing market. Available from June 2003.
