Population structure explains how New Zealand's population is structured by age, sex and ethnicity. It links to information and statistics about these characteristics and about changes in people's living circumstances that affect population structure (like marriages and divorces, families and households).

Population groups gives information about the groups of people that make up the New Zealand population. Included are links to statistics about the major ethnic groups, children, youth, women and older people.
