Evaluation

  1. Have the assumptions about the circumstances and responses of different policy and service target groups proven to be valid?
  2. Does additional demographic data need to be collected from service recipients to enable the policy or programme to be more effectively evaluated?
  3. Would a cohort analysis help to identify policy impacts?
    Example:
Wilson M (2000). "The Policy Response to the Employment Task Force and Changing Patterns of Domestic Purposes Benefit Receipt: A Cohort Analysis", Social Policy Journal of New Zealand 2000, 14: 78-103. An abstract of this article is available electronically.
  4. Should additional research and evaluation be undertaken with respect to key policy and service delivery populations?
